While an electronic imitation might suffice for practicing and seem to be the only option, there is something special about hearing the rich, true tones of individual pipes speaking in unison. Some customers are fortunate enough to have a practical and suitable location for a genuine pipe organ.
The most important constraint in any residence pipe organ is the room in which it resides. If a new pipe organ is being built, the room size and acoustics are considered right in the initial design. However, if an existing organ is going to be relocated to an existing space, tonal and structural modifications to the organ may be required. If the space for the organ has not been designed or built yet, Elsener Organ Works, Inc. would be delighted to aid in maximizing the acoustic space for the instrument, new or existing.
As much as we prefer people to hear genuine pipe organs, one can not deny that another benefit of a true pipe organ is the physical beauty of the instrument.
